Congratulations to Grayson Murray winning in record fashion with his win at the Barbasol Championship! We hope it is the first of many to come. The Barbasol Championship is a professional golf tournament scheduled that was played for the first time on the PGA Tour in 2015 as an alternative event for the 2015 Open Championship. The tournament is played on the Grand National course of the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail in Opelika, Alabama. It is the first PGA Tour event played in Alabama since the 1990 PGA Championship. In the final round of the 2017 Barbasol Championship, Grayson Murray holds off the field posting a 3-under 68 to capture his 1st PGA TOUR title. Grayson Murray is coached by Josh Gregory, Grip Secret’s PGA Tour Instructor. On the same day Justin Spieth (who turns 24 this week) won The Open, Grayson Murray won his first PGA TOUR event by capturing the Championship. Murray won in just his 24th start with a one-stroke victory over Chad Collins. The North Carolina native, who competed on the Web.com Tour last year, finished with a 21-under-par 263, a tournament record. #gripsecret #GraysonMurray #JoshGregory #pgatour #BarbasolChampionship #jordanspieth
